Boy-oh-boy how we love the food at Bavarian Point! His scampi is my favorite in Arizona. His scampi is better than almost every Italian restaurant between Phoenix and Tucson. My wife Lori loves his sausage lunches, open-faced Reuben and more traditional dishes. The Strudels are memorable. The service is excellent and more importantly, the courtesy and tolerance they show to our behaviorally-challenged Special Needs ADA young adult son is extraordinary. The owner always treats us as family and his raspberry whiskey is a sweet fetish every bit a vice.
Love the food. Salad bar is always a little less than desirable. If they could keep it clean and full, it would be much better. But overall, great food and good experience.
We enjoyed this restaurant very much. Service was fine. You do not feel that you are in a strip mall. I had the pork cutlet smothered in mushrooms and my husband had the three sausage combo. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is I wished they served potato pancakes.
We were there on Christmas and they had one special which was the only thing you could get. The salad bar was very good. The meal was not. We were told the special was $22.95 and we ordered coffee and dessert which was a small piece of pumpkin pie in a vanilla cream sauce. The total charged was $72.50!!! It was not itemized so I don't know what the charge was for that dessert and coffee. We will definitely not go back there.
Authentic German fare with the best quality items in the Phoenix area. Wait, They took potato pancakes off the menu if you want them you have to call ahead.😡 Wow, gravy is to thin and salty. Spatzel is deep yellow from eggs, yuck. Time to look for something else .
